Power Oat Balls

Looking for a little pick me up in the afternoon? Something a little sweet after dinner? 

This is the go to quick snack in my house:  Power Oat Balls.

No need to turn the oven on, this is a NO BAKE treat.

Here is what you will need:

1 CUP WHOLE GLUTEN FREE OATS(BOB’S RED MILL IS THE BEST)

½ CUP SMUCKERS NATURAL SMOOTH PEANUT BUTTER( or you can substitiute Almond Butter or Sunflower Butter)

½ CUP GROUND FLAX SEED

½ CUP DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS

1/6TH CUP (1/2 OF A THIRD) organic maple syrup/raw honey.  Add an additional 1 TBLS of the syrup if the mixture is too dry.  Caution: too much sweetener will make these sticky and super sweet.

1 teaspoon VANILLA

Add all ingredients in a bowl mix until well combined and sticking together. Using a cookie scoop scoop out the balls onto a plate.  Pack the mixture down in the cookie scoop to make the balls.

Store in fridge.
